Welcome and Thank You for choosing to be a participant in our San Antonio, Franchise & Business Opportunities Expo. Please take a moment to read the exhibitor manual, which will provide you with all of the necessary information to help make your participation in the Show more profitable and enjoyable. The Show Office will be set up at the Henry B, Gonzalez Convention Center, Hall B, on Friday October 16th at 12 noon and management will be available to assist you for the duration of the Show.

MOVE- IN INSTRUCTIONS

EXHIBITOR MOVE-IN TIMES
Friday, October 16, 2009     12 noon - 6:00 pm

Exhibitors will not be permitted to set up during show hours. All exhibits must be set up by Friday at 6pm unless alternate arrangements have been made with show management.

If you plan on having a vehicle or trailer in your booth as part of your display, you must arrive for move-in between 11am & noon on Friday September 18, 2009.

LOADING DOCKS
The west loading dock is the dock that will be used for access to Hall B. The entrance to this dock is between Market St and Durango St. There is dock level unloading available as well as drive in access.

VEHICLES ON THE SHOW FLOOR
If you plan on having a vehicle in your booth you must adhere to the following rules.

All battery cables are to be disconnected and taped so as to avoid any possibility of emission of sparks.

All gasoline tanks are to register in the Empty or E range on their gauges

Draining of tanks and refueling must be completed outside of the Facility. Fuel is to be removed or dispensed only with safety equipment approved by the Facility.

All liquid propane tanks are to be removed from the Facility during any portion of the Show.

BOOTH INSTALLATION & DISMANTLING
Should you require assistance setting up or dismantling your booth, Spirit Expositions can provide this service. See attached sheet for rates.

NOTE: The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center will not accept shipments on behalf of an exhibitor, either prior to or during show hours.

SHIPPING DIRECT TO SHOW (shipment to arrive on October 16, 2009)
You may ship your materials directly to the show during move-in hours. During move in hours, show management will accept shipments on your behalf. These will be left on the dock until you arrive.

To move your material to your booth, pump trucks and dollies will be available at no charge. If you know that you will require the use of a forklift or assistance moving your material to your booth, please speak with your sales representative, prior to the show, as charges may apply.

PRE SHOW SHIPPING (Shipping prior to move-in day, October 16, 2009)
If you need to ship prior to October 16th you may ship to the Show Decorator. Spirit Expositions is set up to receive, store, deliver and then set your materials in your exhibit space, on move-in day.

Booths can not be taken down before 4pm. Please make your travel arrangements accordingly.

There is no parking pass available.
Parking is available at a number of lots. The closest lot to Hall B is the Riverbend garage, which is at Alamo & Market Street. The published rate at this time is $10/day. Please see the attached info.

EXHIBITOR BADGES

Name badges, will be available for your staff, providing we receive the names by October 9, 2009. If we do not receive them by this date your badges will contain only your company name. Please email the names to: badges@nationalevent.com . Be sure to include your company name and contact. You will receive notification of receipt.

We ask that you limit the number of staff in a 10x10 booth to3 at any one time. Badges will be available for pick up at the Show Office during move-in and they must be worn at all times to gain admittance to the Show.

If you require extra free tickets for colleagues, family members, etc., please contact Rosemary Lanni at rlanni@nationalevent.com. These will be left for pick up at the show, at Ticket Sales.

RULES & REGULATIONS

Insurance

National Event Management Inc., will NOT assume responsibility for losses or damages incurred from pilferage or any other causes. Exhibitors should take all possible precautions to protect their own property, including insurance for liability within your booth space.

Booth Display & Restrictions

No exhibit may exceed a maximum height of 8 ft. Side panels 8 ft. high, must not exceed a depth of 4 ft. extending from the back of the display. The remainder of the 6 ft depth from the front of the booth, must not exceed a 4ft. height. Any exception to this must have pre-approval from Show Management.

Prefab booth partitions must be finished on both sides. If they are not, please request drapes prior to the show.


Signage

No signage or material may be extended above the 8ft height at the back of your booth nor hung from the ceiling or across the aisle, without approval from Show Management.

Demonstrations/Distributions

Displays, demonstrations or distribution of advertising materials, are not permitted outside the confines of your booth. The use of microphones is not permitted without prior management approval.

Fire Regulations

National Event Management is obligated to abide by the Fire Code regulations in each city. We therefore retain the right to refuse any material or object that does not confirm to code. If you have a question or need information re the Fire Code please contact Lynn McVey at (905) 477-2677 or (800) 891-4859 ext 224.

Animals on Site

With the exception of assistance dogs , animals are not permitted in the facility without prior written approval.

Helium Balloons

Helium balloons are not permitted in any part of the Convention Center, either for display or for sale. Air filled balloons may be used for decoration purposes.

Tape

The use of double-sided tape is strictly prohibited. Only masking tape or decorator tape may be used on the exhibit hall or other concrete floors.
