Welcome and Thank You for choosing to be a participant in our Tampa, Franchise & Business Opportunities Expo. Please take a moment to read the exhibitor manual, which will provide you with all of the necessary information to help make your participation in the Show more profitable and enjoyable. The Show Office will be set up at the Florida State Fairgrounds, Special Events Center, on Friday September 11th at 12 noon and management will be available to assist you for the duration of the Show.

FLORIDA STATE REQUIREMENTS

The state of Florida requires all business opportunities with an investment over $500.00 to be registered with the state. Attached is the Business Opportunities Disclosure Filing Package that must be submitted if you are not already registered.

Registration Requirements

MOVE- IN INSTRUCTIONS

EXHIBITOR MOVE-IN TIMES
Friday, September 11, 2009     12 noon - 6:00 pm

Exhibitors will not be permitted to set up during show hours. All exhibits must be set up by Friday at 6pm unless alternate arrangements have been made with show management.

If you plan on having a vehicle or trailer in your booth as part of your display, you must arrive for move-in between 11am & noon on Friday September 11, 2009.

LOADING DOCKS
Exhibitors will enter at the Orient St. gate. Follow the signs to the Special Events Center.

Please note that there is no dock level unloading available.
For ease in unloading your truck, it should be equipped with a tailgate. A pump truck and forklift will be available at no charge to you. If you have excessive forklift requirements please speak with your sales representative to discuss your needs. A charge may apply.

VEHICLES ON THE SHOW FLOOR
If you plan on having a vehicle in your booth you must adhere to the following rules.

All battery cables are to be disconnected and taped so as to avoid any possibility of emission of sparks.

All gasoline tanks are to register in the Empty or E range on their gauges

Draining of tanks and refueling must be completed outside of the Facility. Fuel is to be removed or dispensed only with safety equipment approved by the Facility.

All liquid propane tanks are to be removed from the Facility during any portion of the Show.

BOOTH INSTALLATION & DISMANTLING
Should you require assistance setting up or dismantling your booth, Spirit Expositions can provide this service. See attached sheet for rates.

NOTE: The Florida State Fairgrounds will not accept shipments on behalf of an exhibitor, either prior to or during show hours.

SHIPPING DIRECT TO SHOW TO ARRIVE ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2009
You may ship your materials directly to the show during move-in hours. During move in hours, show management will accept shipments on your behalf. These will be left on the dock until you arrive.

To move your material to your booth, pump trucks and dollies will be available at no charge. If you know that you will require the use of a forklift or assistance moving your material to your booth, please speak with your sales representative, prior to the show, as charges may apply.

Be sure your shipment is labeled clearly.

PRE SHOW SHIPPING (Shipping to arrive prior to move-in day, September 11, 2009)
If you need to ship prior to September 11th you may ship to the Show Decorator. Spirit Expositions is set up to receive, store, deliver and then set your materials in your exhibit space, on move-in day.

Shipments must arrive at the decorator's warehouse by September 4, 2009.

Booths can not be taken down before 4pm. Please make your travel arrangements accordingly.

All material must be removed by 8:00 pm

Carpet, 8ft back drape and 3 ft side drape are supplied for your exhibit space. If you require tables, chairs or additional booth supplies, these items can be rented from Spirit Expositions .

HOTEL

We have chosen the Hilton Garden Inn as the show hotel this year. The rate is $84.00 for a "Run of the House" room, single or double occupancy. A free shuttle is provided to the Fairgrounds.

EXHIBITOR PARKING

Parking for exhibitors is free but you must have a parking permit. We will arrange to have these available for you at move-in. When arriving on move-in day, the parking attendant will have a list of exhibitors, by company name and you may then pick up a permit at the show office.

FOOD SAMPLING

If you are sampling a food or beverage product you must have approval from the Boston Culinary Group. Food samples are limited to a 2 ounce portion and beverage samples to 4oz cups with a 3oz serving.

EXHIBITOR BADGES

Name badges, will be available for your staff providing we receive the names by September 4th, 2009. If we do not receive them by this date your badges will contain only your company name. Please email the names to: badges@nationalevent.com Be sure to include your company name and contact. You will receive notification of receipt.

We ask that you limit the number of staff in a 10x10 booth to 4 at any one time. Badges will be available for pick up at the Show Office during move–in and they must be worn at all times to gain admittance to the Show.

If you require extra free tickets for colleagues, family members, etc., please contact Rosemary Lanni at rlanni@nationalevent.com. These will be left for pick up at the show, at Ticket Sales.

CUSTOMS

The Federal ID Number for the Florida State Fairgrounds is 59-0651848. You will require this number to clear customs.

INSURANCE

National Event Management Inc. will not assume responsibility for losses or damages incurred from pilferage or any other causes. Exhibitors should take all possible precautions to protect their own property, including insurance for liability within your booth space.

RULES & REGULATIONS

Booth Display & Restrictions

No exhibit may exceed a maximum height of 8 ft. Side panels 8 ft. high, must not exceed a depth of 4 ft. extending from the back of the display. The remainder of the 6 ft depth from the front of the booth, must not exceed a 4ft. height. Any exception to this must have pre-approval from Show Management.

Prefab booth partitions must be finished on both sides. If they are not, please request drapes prior to the show.


Signage

No signage or material may be extended above the 8ft height at the back of your booth nor hung from the ceiling or across the aisle, without approval from Show Management.

Demonstrations/Distributions

Displays, demonstrations or distribution of advertising materials, are not permitted outside the confines of your booth. The use of microphones is not permitted without prior management approval.

Fire Regulations

National Event Management is obligated to abide by the Fire Code regulations in each city. We therefore retain the right to refuse any material or object that does not confirm to code. Animals On Site

Live animals, reptile, fish or birds are not permitted in the facility unless it is a properly and safely muzzled "seeing eye" dog or is an animal, reptile, fish or bird which as been given written consent to be allowed in the building. All such animals so admitted must at all times remain on a leash, within a pen, or under similar control.

Helium Balloons

Helium balloons are permitted in the show. Tanks must be stored outside the building during Show hours. There is a $100 charge for recovering any runaway balloons.
