The Show Office will be set up at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building, Hall F & G, on Friday, January 14 & 15, 2012, at 8 am and management will be available to assist you for the duration of the Show.

For safety reasons, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre prohibits children under the age of 16 from being in the exhibit hall during move-in or move-out.
Exhibitors will not be permitted to set up during show hours.

LOADING DOCKS
The loading docks for the South building are accessible off of Lower
Simcoe Street, south of Bremner.
The MTCC has established a marshalling yard to facilitate a more efficient move-in and move-out process. Vehicles requiring dock access to unload, must report first to the vehicle marshalling area. The yard will be opened 1 hour prior to the scheduled move-in /move-out times.
Note:For those of you who have exhibited at the show before , please note that the location of the marshalling yard has changed. The new location is at 100/120 Cherry St.

Should you require assistance setting up or dismantling your booth, Stronco can provide this service. See attached sheet for rates.

VEHICLES ON THE SHOW FLOOR:
If you plan on having a vehicle in your booth, vehicles will have to be brought in on Friday January 13, 2012 between 8am & 9am. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Karen Heffer. Because the hall is carpeted you must put some protection under the car, to avoid any possible damage to the carpet.
If you do plan on having a vehicle in your booth you must adhere to the following rules.
- Motor vehicles or gasoline-powered equipment on display, must be equipped with lock on type gasoline tank caps and batteries are to be disconnected. Gasoline tanks must not be filled beyond the ¾ mark in order to allow for expansion of product. Vehicles unable to be equipped with lock-on type caps must have caps sealed in a manner acceptable to the Fire Department.
- Running of display vehicles during exhibit is prohibited unless approved by the Fire Department.
- Shows requiring vehicles to run as part of a performance or contest, must fill vehicle outdoors from approved safety containers.
- Propane charged cylinders are not permitted on self-propelled vehicles or trailers on display inside buildings.
- If at any time an Inspector deems that equipment is being operated in a manner dangerous to public safety, he shall cancel the privilege of the exhibitor concerned.

The most cost effective way to ship your items to the show is to arrange delivery for Friday January 13, 2012, during move in hours. You can use our show shipping company (YRC Reimer - see details below) or your own preferred shipper.
PLEASE NOTE that the facility WILL NOT receive shipments prior to Friday, January 13, 2012.
Show Management will sign for the delivery on your behalf on Friday January 13, 2012, between the hours of 8am - 6pm. Your materials will be left at the dock until you arrive. To move your items to your booth space, pump trucks and dollies will be available at no charge. Should you require assistance or the use of a forklift, please contact your sales rep as charges may apply.

PREFERRED CARRIER
If you must ship pre show, we recommend that you use YRC Reimer. As the official show carrier, they will warehouse your materials for up to 30 days prior to the show, at no charge and deliver to the show on move - in day. Your shipment will be left on the dock until you arrive.

For your convenience we have chosen the
Intercontinental Hotel Toronto as the show hotel. The rate is $159.00. The hotel is attached to the MTCC so if you have purchased a parking pass for the Show, you may leave your car parked at the Convention Center. The hotel is a very short walk indoors from the show floor. Please phone the number below for reservations.

A discounted parking pass is available if you are parking two consecutive days or more. Please complete the form and return to MTCC.
Parking passes may only be purchased at the discounted rate of $13 inclusive of taxes / day up to the first day of move-in. Once the move-in starts only onsite passes can be purchased. Passes may be picked up onsite at the service desk. Passes pre-ordered that are not picked up will be left at the parking office in the South Lot. Exhibitors coming into the parking lot without their pass should have at least a photocopy of their order form because once the lot is full; nobody can enter without a pass. Spaces will be held for pre-ordered passes either in the north or south lots but you will not be allowed to enter by simply telling the attendant that you have a pass. We highly recommend that you make the effort to get the passes to the individuals who will be using them, in advance.

Each exhibitor is provided with up to 3 personalized name badges per 10x10 booth. Badges will be available for pick up at the show office on Friday. Badges must be worn to gain admittance to the show and during all show hours.
To request your badges please email badges@nationalevent.com by, January 6, 2012. Please be sure to include your company name and contact info. You will receive notification of receipt.
If you require extra free tickets for colleagues, family members, etc., please email your company logo to sofie@nationalevent.com. We will create a customized Free Admission e-coupon that you can forward.

The service of a customs brokerage firm is recommended for all shipment s originating outside of Canada. Mendelsohnn Event Logistics is the customs broker for the Show. National Event Management Inc. will not assume responsibility for losses or damages incurred from pilferage or any other causes. Exhibitors should take all possible precautions to protect their own property, including insurance for liability within your booth space.

No exhibit may exceed a maximum height of 8 ft. Side panels 8 ft. high, must not exceed a depth of 4 ft. extending from the back of the display.
The remainder of the 6 ft depth from the front of the booth, must not exceed a 4ft. height. Any exception to this must have pre-approval from Show Management.
Prefab booth partitions must be finished on both sides. If they are not, please request masking drapes prior to the show.
Please review the picture below noting height and depth restrictions. If you have any questions please contact your sales rep.
No signage or material may be extended above the 8ft height at the back of your booth nor hung from the ceiling or across the aisle, without approval from Show Management.
Displays, demonstrations or distribution of advertising materials, are not permitted outside the confines of your booth. The use of microphones is not permitted without prior management approval.
National Event Management is obligated to abide by the Fire Code regulations in each city. We therefore retain the right to refuse any material or object that does not confirm to code. Written permission must be given to use helium balloons in your booth.
Animals, with the exception of working dogs, are not permitted in the MTCC except as an approved exhibit requiring the use of animals, in which case an animal authorization form must be completed.
