Mike Melvin is a Partner with the law firm of McInnes Cooper and specializes in franchise and trade-mark law. Mike is recognized in the 2013, 2014 and 2015 Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directories as a Leading Practitioner in the area of franchise law and is a member of the Canadian Franchise Association’s Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee. He is a frequent speaker and writer on franchise law matters and is a registered trade-mark agent. Mike advises both franchisors and franchisees on their obligations under franchise legislation, prepares and reviews franchise agreements, franchise disclosure documents and other franchise documentation and assists with matters of corporate structuring and restructuring and with all types of franchise transactions.

Mr. Conner holds a bachelor's degree in business communications from the University of Missouri at Columbia. Devin has supported franchise systems such as Bella Pita Mediterranean, Junk King, Golden Home Care Franchising, Simply Chiropractic, REDRHINO epoxy flooring and Restoration 1 among others.

Devin currently provides management experience with a heavy focus in operations for both national and regional food service franchises. His management background in the food service arena provides industry specific expertise for clients.
