Marie-Line Beauchamp

Marie-Line Beauchamp

Marie-Line Beauchamp was appointed Chief Operating Officer, casual dining division, for MTY Restaurant Group Inc. on November 1st, 2018. Prior to that role, Ms. Beauchamp has held the position of Chief Operating Officer for Imvescor group. Before that, she was Chief Operating Officer for Mikes and Pizza Delight. Prior to joining the organization, Ms. Beauchamp worked as the Executive Director of Leucan. Formerly, she was President of Les Rôtisseries St-Hubert. Prior to that role, she was Vice-President, Corporate Social Responsibility at Sodexo, based in Paris, within the AMECAA division representing 40 countries including Australia and India, as well as countries in Africa, Asia, northern Europe and the Middle East. She also held several key positions within the company in Canada, such as Executive Vice-President, and Vice-President of Operations at Marriott Management Services. 

Ms. Beauchamp holds a bachelor’s degree in science and food administration from McGill University and is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors. Ms. Beauchamp is a board member of the ITHQ Foundation. She also served on different boards such as the John Molson School of Business, as well as the STOP Hunger foundation in Canada, of which she was a founding member.

 

Marc Benzacar

Marc Benzacar

Marc has earned a Biology Degree from Concordia University and a Law degree from Université de Montréal. He held Legal Counsel and executive positions in the Pharmaceutical industry for the first decade of his career before joining MTY in 2007 as Vice President of Legal Affairs and Corporate Development, working primarily on acquisitions and overseeing the company’s legal matters. In 2008, Marc was awarded the Senior Vice President position for Sushi Shop, Sushiman and SushiGO, in a role which he achieved exceptional results. Since November 2018, Marc Benzacar has been serving as Chief Operating Officer, Fast Casual Division for the MTY GROUP.

Président-directeur général du Conseil québécois de la franchise, Christian s’est joint au CQF en juin 2016, après y avoir collaboré à titre d’administrateur et de président du conseil d’administration au cours des dix années précédentes. Son expertise et sa connaissance du monde de la franchise n’est plus à faire, ayant œuvré au cours des 35 dernières années au sein des réseaux tel : Les Restaurants Giorgio, La Cage aux Sports, le Commensal et pour Les Restaurants Pacini à titre de vice-président exécutif. En début de carrière, il a contribué au succès d’un groupe de restauration de la région de Québec, Gestion Famiger appartenant à la famille Germain, qui aujourd’hui connait un succès avec la chaine d’hôtel Alt et plusieurs hôtels boutique au Canada. Ses compétences en ce qui concerne, le développement des affaires, la gestion des opérations, des ressources humaines, l’approvisionnement, le marketing et les finances lui permettent de bien comprendre les enjeux reliés au modèle d’affaire qu’est la franchise et de bien saisir l’importance d’établir d’un partenariat stratégique entre franchiseur et franchisé. Diplômé de l’institut d’hôtellerie du Québec en gestion hôtelière et de restaurant, et ayant acquis des compétences de management et de coaching au cours des dernières années, en plus d’être conférencier invité par plusieurs associations telles; l’ARQ, le CQRHT, Chambre de commerces locales et d’autres organismes reliés au monde des affaires et de la franchise.

Me Jean H Gagnon-Fasken

Jean H. Gagnon est avocat-conseil. Il se spécialise principalement dans les domaines du franchisage et des autres formes de partenariat stratégique entre entreprises, du droit de la pharmacie et de la distribution des médicaments, de la négociation, de la médiation et des modes non judiciaires de règlement des différends.

Il possède plus de 44 ans d’expérience dans le domaine du franchisage et plus de 30 ans dans le domaine de la négociation et de la médiation de différends commerciaux. Il conseille des sociétés, des entrepreneur(e)s, des gestionnaires et des professionnel(le)s aux fins de la mise en place, de la gestion, du développement et de l’expansion de leurs entreprises et de leurs réseaux, tout en leur offrant aussi des conseils stratégiques d’affaires. Il agit également comme stratège, négociateur et médiateur dans le cadre de difficultés et différends d’affaires et de transactions commerciales.

 

Sylvain Boissy

Sylvain Boissy

Sylvain Boissy is the Vice-President of Development of the MTY Group that he joined 9 years ago. He and his team are in charge for the growth of the group’s brands for the Quebec and Atlantic Canada markets. He is also overseeing the Canadian growth of the group’s Fast Casual brands. The MTY Group owns 81 different banners mainly in Canada, United States and the Middle-East. He contributed to the rapid growth of such brands as Thaï Express and Sushi Shop. Sylvain has 26 years of experience in the field of commercial real estate where he started in marketing management with Ivanhoe, then as General Manager of Operation for the Alexis Nihon Group. He joined Oberfeld Snowcap, representing many national Canadian retailers for their needs real estate and before joining the MTY Group, he worked at Starbucks Coffee for the real estate development of Eastern Canada. Sylvain as a bachelor’s degree in business & Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
