SDCooper Company, has 25 years of benefits consulting and pension administration experience. First to evangelized the essential exit strategy that popularized the ERSOP(TM) Plan. First to successfully market it to franchisors and business brokers (beginning in 1999) Coined the term "ERSOP (Entrepreneur Rollover Stock Ownership Plan)" in 2001.

Scott Kern Scott C. Kern ~ franchiselawsource.com

Scott Kern practices franchise law nationwide from offices in New Haven, Connecticut. Mr. Kern’s franchise industry practice is a broad mix: drafting franchise agreements and disclosure materials, transactional work, regulatory compliance matters and franchise litigation.

Mr. Kern’s firm provides counsel to franchisors on all legal matters they face and also represents franchisees in acquiring and starting franchised business and leasing real estate for their new enterprises.

Daryl Dollinger Daryl Dollinger ~ Raving Brands

As president of one of the nation's fastest-growing restaurant enterprises, Daryl Dollinger's leadership has been integral to the success of Atlanta-based Raving Brands since its inception.

Dollinger has overseen the franchise sales and development department for the Raving Brands portfolio of nine unique brands including Moe’s Southwest Grill, Doc Green’s Gourmet Salads and Shane’s Rib Shack for the past six years. As the head of the company’s sales and development teams, he oversees functions including franchisee marketing, sourcing and qualification, sales and recruiting, franchisee relations and general administration.

Dollinger has been a key player on the Raving Brands management team since the company's inception six years ago. Dollinger was one of a group several business leaders that included Raving Brands' Founder and CEO Martin Sprock, who developed and launched the company's first portfolio success story – Planet Smoothie. Fueled by passion and the momentum of the booming business, Dollinger went on to purchase a total of six Planet Smoothies in the Atlanta area and helped to develop the Moe's Southwest Grill and Mama Fu's Asian House concepts.

Prior to his time at Raving Brands, Dollinger was owner and general manager of an Einstein's Bagels franchise. He received a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of South Carolina, and is a member of the International Franchise Association (IFA) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Dollinger lives in Atlanta with his wife and three children.

Edward Haddock Edward Haddock ~ U.S. Small Business Administration

Edward Haddock, a member of the Small Business Administration's New Jersey district office, acts as a marketing and outreach representative for the SBA throughout the state.

Edward comes to the SBA with multifaceted experience in business development. As a former small business owner, he is personally familiar with the myriad challenges that small businesses face. He is a 12-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and during his military career he trained both national and international students, and developed cutting-edge international aerospace maintenance programs. He also oversaw operating budgets and execution of government contracts as a resource adviser. While serving, he engaged his entrepreneurial spirit, and launched two small business ventures. Additionally, he has served as president of a 501c3 nonprofit company where he developed deep community ties and key alliances which helped drive the organization toward success.

Edward obtained his bachelor's in business management from John Brown University. He also holds associate degrees in aerospace maintenance technology and instructional science, as well as a Community College of the Air Force instructor certification.

Jack Armstrong Jack Armstrong ~ FranNet

Jack Armstrong is the President of FranNet of New Jersey and has owned that business for the last sixteen years. He conducts more than 60 seminars a year on purchasing a franchise, many in close cooperation with leading outplacement firms, Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), Score and leading Law Firms. Jack has an accounting degree from Bemidji State University and a MBA in finance from Pace University.
