Mahmoud is a franchising veteran, starting in January 1992 as a Subway franchisee/operator. Together with his brother, they developed, owned and operated 5 Subway restaurants between 1992 and 1997 in Hull and Montreal. In 1997, Mahmoud joined Subway International as Regional Director for the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa where he developed and launched the Subway brand in over 22 countries and territories including 2 countries in Europe. In 2008, Mahmoud returned to Canada where he developed more Subway restaurants in key locations in the Montreal area. Since 2013, Mahmoud has been helping numerous businesses, in all sectors, to become franchises and helping existing businesses to improve their operational standards and establish strategic development plans. A CFE-certified franchise director, acting in accordance with the codes of ethics of the International Franchise Association IFA, the Canadian Franchise Association CFA, and the Conseil Québécois de la Franchise CQF.
