Tipton Shonkwiler is the Brand President for Accurate Franchising and also the President UFG Consulting Division. Tipton has been with United Franchise Group for more than 20 years. He has been working in the franchise industry for the past 30 years and has served in various capacities including franchise development, sales and marketing, international master license sales, international brand development, along with having the direct responsibility for the day to day operations for several UFG brands throughout his career. Tipton is a Certified Franchise Executive within the International Franchise Association and holds a Franchise MBA from Nova Southeastern University.
Mike is a corporate-commercial law partner in our Fredericton office. His primary practice areas are franchise, trademark and technology law.
Mike is recognized as a leading lawyer in the area of franchise law in The Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory and as a leader in his field in the Chambers Canada Guide. He has been listed in Best Lawyers® 2022 and the Chambers Canada 2023 Legal Rankings for Franchising. Mike is an active member of the Canadian Franchise Association’s Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee and frequently writes and speaks on legal matters affecting franchising. He is a contributing author of the American Bar Association book Fundamentals of Franchising – Canada, 2nd ed., released in 2018.

Scott has extensive experience in the Canadian franchise landscape working with some of the most well-established brands in Canada and the United States. Scott began his career at Tim Hortons as a multi-unit franchise owner/operator. After ten years with Tim Hortons, Scott expanded his horizons and joined Kelsey’s as a Franchisee owner/operator.
Scott made a deliberate move to apply his talent and knowledge to corporate operations, joining companies such as Sunoco, McDonald’s, Medicine Shoppe/Rexall Inc., Luxottica Retail and Pearle Vision Canada. From 2014 to 2017, Scott held the position of Vice President of Operations at Mary Brown’s Famous Chicken & Taters.
I am a 1997 graduate from St Francis Xavier University with a BBA Degree. I joined RBC in 2009 as an Account Manager and worked with Clients with their personal banking needs. In 2016, I started as a Business Account Manager and have been working with about 200 Small Businesses through all stages of their business cycle. I pride myself as being a Trusted Strategic Advisor to my Clients every day.
Most recently I assumed a senior role in Business Financial Services at RBC to assist Client that have more complex needs in regards to financing, cash flow management and needs beyond everyday banking.
Chris holds undergraduate degrees in both Science and History, and an MBA from Dalhousie. He started with RBC in 2018 as a Commercial Account Manager, specializing in restaurants and retail. Prior to this, Chris worked as a Manager of Business Development with the TDL Group Corp (Tim Hortons) in the GTR.
Chris is focused on being a Trusted Strategic Advisor and consistently delivering exceptional experiences his to clients and prospects. He also focuses on internal development through acting as a mentor to RBC Commercial Financial Services interns.
